Years of Eden
Though the sun may set over the horizon the lights of Abel light up the city to keep away the darkness and remind the local inhabitants that wealth doesn’t come to those who sleep all day. The town of Abel is filled to the brim with riches, both that of gold and silver, and richness of words and politics. Abel is no doubt the trading capital of Temuair, its streets and buildings lavishly decorated with exquisite detail, and so must its distinguished citizens lest the stick out and be confused with the poorer riff raff. For one to survive in Abel they must be able to wield many blades, blades of steel, and blades of the tongue.
-From Zakar’s “The Towns of Temuair”
Abel is a beautiful city built upon the golden northern coasts of Temuair and has for hundreds of years enjoyed the title of the richest city of Temuair. Every guild wishing to form, every noble seeking power, every merchant seeking riches must go through Abel if they wish to succeed.
